Broadway in the Borough Tickets Selling Out Fast
By Kristin McLaughlin Mitchell,
When we decided to do a cabaret with professional singers from NYC and Philly once a month to build our audience while we wait for The Armory Theatre to be ready for the Resident Theatre Company, we never imagined how popular it would be! Our first show, which we thought would be a small crowd until we built the brand, sold out! Then we put the July 30th show on sale, and it sold out by the end of June. Four weeks before the show!
And now the August 27th tickets are going fast!
We are so excited to find out just how much West Chester wants to see professional theatre here! Our first show on June 25th was a blast! Jenny Lee Stern from Broadway’s Rocky and A Christmas Story, and Janine Merolla, Luke Brahdt, and Rajeer Alford from Philly were our performers and they absolutely blew the roof off of Sprout Music Collective! We also had the wonderful Nicole Salerno as our featured teen performer.
Our sold out show this month will feature the amazing Casey Erin Clark from NY (who’s amazing resume includes the National Tour of Les Mis), and Garrison Carpenter, Geoffrey Bruen, and Elena Camp from Philly. John Viggiano will complete this powerhouse cast as our teen performer.
So, to our surprise, Broadway in the Borough is becoming the hottest ticket in WC. Because the shows are selling out so quickly, and so early, we are talking about adding a night in the fall and performing the last Thursday and Friday night of the month. Until then, buy your tickets early! 🙂
