Sly Fox Fox Trot 5K Is Back For 2015
Phoenixville’s very own Sly Fox Brewing Company has teamed up with locally based Great American Brewery Runs to present their 2nd Annual Fox Trot 5K on May 30, 2015!
This event is sure to be a hit with avid runners and beer enthusiasts alike. To ensure accuracy, the race is professionally timed with bib chips, and will take place on a certified course through the neighborhoods surrounding the Pottstown brewery. This isn’t your average fun run- this is truly a “race” with prizes for different age categories and the opportunity to collect prizes for participating in all of GABR’s 2015 events. Every registered runner ages 21 and over will also enjoy a GABF Silver Medal winning Sly Fox Grisette Beer at the finish line, complete in a commemorative glass.
The Fox Trot 5K starts and ends at the Pottstown brewery, but the fun does not stop when the race is over. Stick around for the rest of the day as Taps, Tunes and Trucks keeps you entertained till 6pm. The party will feature eight food trucks, yard games including Kan Jam, corn hole and life size beer pong. In fact, this party is so fantastic that GABR was just honored as throwing one of the Top 10 post race beer gardens in the US by Active.com.
Have a running club or a corporate team? Teams of 10 or more get upgraded so each runner gets a custom Sly Fox Fox Trot 5k growler. The race benefits Leukemia and Lymphoma Team in Training. The event is family friendly but no dogs or strollers are allowed in the race for everyone’s safety.
Registration is $40 through April 1, but you can save $5 through Saturday, March 14 by using Promo Code: VISTA. Hurry, as the race is capped at 1,000 runners and it’s already over 50% sold out. All details, and information about other races can be found here.
