BankMobile has opened close to 3,000 bank accounts since its launch in January, Luvleen Sidhu, chief strategy officer, recently told Forbes.com.

With no fees, no branches and a stylish mobile app, BankMobile is among the new mobile banks revolutionizing banking in the U.S.  BankMobile is a subsidiary of Wyomissing-based Customers Bank.

Forbes.com reports mobile banking is likely to see a 30 percent annual growth rate, going from 33 million in 2012 to a projected 96 million by 2016. Read the full story here.
