Chester County Commissioner Terence Farrell (R) was elected Chair of the Commissioners during this morning’s first Board of Commissioners Sunshine meeting of 2015.

Commissioner Farrell previously served as Commissioners’ Chair in 2009, 2011 and 2012.

Commissioner Kathi Cozzone (D) remains Vice Chair of the three member board. Commissioner Cozzone nominated Commissioner Farrell as Chairman and newly-appointed Commissioner Michelle Kichline (R) nominated Commissioner Cozzone as Vice Chair.

Upon receiving the unanimous support of the other two County Commissioners, Farrell commented he was grateful for their support.

“I look forward to working with them collaboratively and effectively, he continued, “to provide an excellent level of services and programs for the taxpayers and families of Chester County.”

Commissioner Farrell has been a Chester County Commissioner since 2008.
