A fitness center brand known for its spacious, more-than-just-fitness facilities and 24-hour availability is eyeing open real estate in Wayne for a possible expansion.

“Life Time (Fitness) is continuously looking for new destinations for expansion, and I can confirm that this is an area of interest,” spokeswoman Natalie Bushaw said in a Philadelphia Business Journal report.

New facilities typically sport “indoor and outdoor swimming pools, basketball and racquet courts, personal training and group fitness, child care, cafes and spas where you can get, among other things, skin peels and tightening as well as laser hair and tattoo removal,” the article stated.

Life Time’s modus operandi is to own or lease space measuring at least 100,000 square feet.
