Employees at Acme Markets Malvern headquarters shared their holiday spirit this month with Friends Association, one of only three family shelters in Chester County.

Acme employees purchased 81 gifts for children in the care of Friends Association. See some of the photos here.

For over 190 years Friends Association has provided essential social services for children and families. The program is currently focusing on homeless or near-homeless families with children.

Friends Association’s goal is to strengthen the community by helping the families they serve find or maintain permanent housing and achieve stability and self-sufficiency. Its Homeless Prevention Program helps families with children find or maintain safe, permanent housing, balancing financial assistance with strong case management services.
