Phoenixville Foundry Reformed As Red-Hot Event Destination

By

After sitting empty and abandoned for decades, a relic of Phoenixville’s past was reformed in late 2008 into a unique and spacious social setting, and today the Phoenixville Foundry’s unparalleled architecture and design make it a red-hot destination for all kinds of parties and presentations.

“Our goal was to give people different options,” facility and events director Bob Tomasso said in a recent Pennsylvania Meetings+Events article. “I was pleased by how large of a market that really is.”

The foundry’s 18,000 square feet not only offers a breadth of opportunities for gatherings — it can accommodate up to 550 people plus additional outdoor seating — but focuses too on conforming to its clients’ preferences with seven caterers and a host of vendor options for tables, chairs, linens and china.

And those clients owe its remaking to a risk taken by the Hankin Group of Exton as an investment in the community to help spark more redevelopment.
