PennDOT Sets Community Meetings For Two Route 41 Intersections

By

If you commute along Route 41 in western Chester County and are concerned about the road’s safety and future enhancements, put on your calendar one or both of these two municipal meetings to be hosted by PennDOT.

PennDOT is seeking community support about potential changes to the intersections of Routes 41 and 926 in Londonderry Township, and Routes 41 and 841 in Chatham.

From 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, PennDOT will welcome input at the township building, 103 Daleville Road, Cochranville.   Supervisors and PennDOT reps will answer questions and listen to solution about how to make the 41/926 intersection safer for drivers.  The meeting will be conducted as an informal open house, not as a lecture.  For information, contact the township at 610-869-2138.

The second meeting, about 41/841, will be at London Grove Township at 372 Rose Hill Road, Suite 100, West Grove, in Chatham.  The agenda will also be informal, and residents are welcome to bring comments, questions, sketches and solutions toward making the 41/841 intersection safer.  For information, contact the township office at 610-345-0100.

Word about the meeting was put out by SAVE – Safety, Agriculture, Villages and Environment, Inc. The local nonprofit group keeps an eye on development in the county and promotes roadway infrastructure consistent with safety and preservation of the community’s historic villages and environment.
