A West Chester University dean with public health expertise and a memorial foundation president have joined Coatesville’s Brandywine Health Foundation to spearhead a new youth mental health first aid program.

Newtown Square resident Dr. Linda Thompson Adams and Exton executive Fred C. Travaglini were just named to the volunteer board of directors, The Unionville Times reported.

“We are delighted to expand our focus in the community,” Brandywine President and CEO Frances M. Sheehan said in the article. “… Their diverse experience and expertise will complement our board of 19 additional members.

The foundation has invested $13 million of grants in health initiatives of area nonprofit organizations since it was created in 2001.
