“With Millennials’ increasing demand for work-life integration, B Corps are winning the talent war,” said Jay Coen Gilbert, co-founder of B Lab. “The Best for Workers Honorees are leading the way with their commitment to creating high quality jobs that serve a higher purpose.”

Mandy Cabot, Dansko founder and CEO, said from its very beginning, the company has focused on “the triple bottom line.”

“We want to enhance the well-being of everyone whose lives our business impacts,”  Cabot said.  “We’re thrilled to be recognized as one of the best in an already elite group of companies—not the best in the world, but the best for the world.”

Cabot and her husband Peter Kjellerup founded Dansko in 1990.  The firm leads the comfort footwear market with 185 employee-owners.

BLab is a nonprofit organization that serves a global movement to redefine success in business so that all companies compete not only to be the best in the world, but the best for the world.   There are nearly 1,100 Certified B Corporations.
