Customers Bank, a Phoenixville-based national bank chain, is lending support to small businesses — and bringing on a veteran business development specialist to take the effort to the next level.

As Customers Bank senior vice president-level Small Business Administration director, Kevin D. Gallagher will put together a sales team to provide SBA loan solutions to companies nationwide.

“With his extensive background in SBA lending and his proven leadership skills, Kevin is a welcome addition to our Customers Bank team,” Customers Bank President and COO Richard Ehst said in a Small Business Finance Institute article.

The award-winning executive comes from successes at Citibank, the New York Business Development Corp. and Long Island’s Gallagher Associates.
