Chamber Endorses Ryan Costello In 6th Congressional District

By

Chester County Commissioner Ryan Costello has won the endorsement of the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry in his run to represent constituents in Pennsylvania’s Sixth Congressional District.

The district includes communities north and west of the City of Philadelphia and is currently represented by Jim Gerlach, who announced his retirement earlier this year.

“Ryan has proven himself as a county commissioner and we are very excited to endorse him in his run for Congress,” said Guy Ciarrocchi in announcing the unanimous endorsement. “Ryan understands that economic growth is imperative not only in Chester County, but the entire Commonwealth.”

For his part, Costello said he is proud playing a part in the strong collaboration between county government and the business community in Chester County.

“Working together, we have created a great, vibrant business environment that enables existing companies to be successful and grow jobs, while also supporting new entrepreneurs looking to launch their own small businesses,” Costello said.

“I greatly appreciate the endorsement from the Chester County Chamber and their continued leadership on regional economic issues. If elected to Congress, I will support a pro-growth economic vision that invests in education, cuts burdensome regulatory red-tape, and simplifies our tax code.”

Costello is running in the General Election set for Tuesday, Nov. 4.
