At-Mar Glass Lands On Spike TV Awards Show

By

A small, multi-generational family business in Kennett Square recently made a big, multi-faceted splash on Spike TV’s Guys Choice 2014 awards show.

A complicated, hand-crafted knot of glass tubes and colored liquids made by Steve and Vic Pesce of At-Mar Glass Inc. was used in the spirit of mad science as a prop for the “hilarious, unpretentious, heartfelt event where comedy is king and the world’s greatest stars (past and present) align to toast the mega-splendor of all things guy,” according to an account published in the Daily Local News.

“They specialize in taking exacting specifications from customers and producing precision products with fast turnaround times — for instance, creating a 40-foot-long mad-scientist backdrop for a TV comedy show and delivering it in a matter of days,” the article noted.

A Pesce custom-crafted object has also ended up on hit TV show CSI, they added.
