New Outpatient Hospital To Fill Unmet Southern Tier Needs

By

Construction has begun on a new 72,000-square-foot outpatient health care facility by Anchor Health Properties that will soon fill unmet needs for more physicians in the southern part of the county, according to a recent Commercial Property Executive report.

Dubbed Penn Medicine Southern Chester County, the facility will feature the services of Chester County Hospital physicians, including imaging, lab draw, physical therapy, primary care and same-day surgical procedures, as well as a concierge desk, cafe, community resource room, outdoor event space, walking trails and meadows.

It’s all located on 45 acres at the high-traffic intersection of Route 1 and Route 896.

“The design creates a comfortable, high-quality health care experience for the convenience and customer service of physicians, patients and visitors, and utilizes building materials and landscape elements that reflect the history and environment of southern Chester County,” Anchor CEO Paula Crowley said.
