A long-time Exton business professional has given his life to making people smile, and it has nothing to do with what he says.

What Dr. Jonathan Scharf does at his Exton Dental Health Group and Pennsylvania Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, however, is life-changing, according to a feature story in Chester County Life.

“We probably all remember those ill-fitting dentures (from the 1970s) that corrupted what was once a radiant smile,” he said in the story. “I was convinced there was a solution, and that solution became my mission as a budding dentist.”

“In America,” one patient was quoted as saying, “you are judged by your smile. It’s your brand.”

And Scharf’s work has not stopped here.

“Patients from Eastern Europe, India, Scandinavia, Holland, Japan, Russia, and the Ukraine call him a hero,” the article states, “and boast grins to prove it is true.”

In addition to his cutting-edge techniques and quality of work, the man is renowned for his generosity toward residents who can’t afford dental work and residents who owe their productive careers to the school he and his son started.
