A. Duie Pyle announced May 12th it is adding new technologies, processes and capital as it launches its Customized Solutions Group.

CSG divides the firm’s transportation customer service into four business segments: Custom Dedicated, Truckload, Brokerage and Warehousing and Distribution.

Pyle’s Custom Dedicated Solutions will give its customers their own customized fleet.

“When Pyle’s customers entrust us to handle part or all of their private fleet needs, they shift to us the responsibility for staying on top of constantly evolving DOT regulations, the significant risk or cargo and personal liability, and the costs and distractions of recruiting and retaining professional drivers,” said Keary Mueller, chief operating officer.

“Our customers trust that Pyle’s 90 years of experience will provide them with the customized solutions for their business – freeing our customers to focus on their core business,” he said.

Pyle’s Truckload Solutions serve the short-haul and regional truckload markets in the Northeast. Truckload provides same-day pickup and delivery, scheduled deliveries, and just-in-time service. Pyle’s also offers less-than-truckload, warehousing and distribution resources.

Pyle’s Brokerage Solutions is a single source for shipping throughout 48 states. The company facilitates shipments from beginning to end, meeting routine and special requests.

Pyle’s Warehouse and Distribution Solutions owns and operates eight warehouse and distribution facilities with more than two million square feet of space.

A. Duie Pyle, based in West Chester, last month celebrated its 90th year in business. The transportation and logistics company, which handles shipments to the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Canada and the Caribbean, has a local warehouse in Parkesburg and warehouses and service centers in West Chester.
