Female Business Leader Of The Year Award Nominees Sought
Are you or do you know a Chester County businesswoman with outstanding personal and professional leadership skills?
The Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry is seeking candidates for the 2014 Female Business Leader of the Year Award, to be recognized during the Chamber’s annual Women-in-Business dinner on Wednesday, May 14 at the Waynesborough Country Club in Paoli.
The Chamber plans to honor a woman who has achieved professional success, gives back to the community, and stands as an advocate for other women. She may be a seasoned business professional or an up-and-coming leader.
The Chamber has bestowed this award upon a worthy businesswoman for the past 10 years.
Last year’s award recipient was Kim Engstrom (right), a partner in the Kennett Square firm RENEWAL Sustainable Environments. The women-owned firm specializes in creating healthy environments.
Nominees must be women in leadership roles within a company and have a presence in Chester County. Elected officials are not eligible. Nominees must be Chamber members.
Women also may nominate themselves.
Deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. on Friday, March 21. A nomination form is on the Chamber’s web site here.
