Victory Brewing Company Opens Kennett Square Brewpub

By

As of Monday, April 20, 2015 Victory Brewing Company officially opened its second brewpub at Victory at Magnolia. Located at 650 West Cypress Street in Kennett Square, PA, the seven-barrel brewery will serve a rotating selection of Kennett Square-brewed beer on draft. The overall philosophy behind Victory at Magnolia mirrors the Downingtown location. It embraces the community with locally sourced ingredients, provides local jobs and supports green initiatives. 042415Victory

Though the new location did not have a grand opening, the first public night was already a full house.  Word got out via attendees from the previous week’s private events, social media, and passersby. The first nights’ crowd was a sure indication that the Kennett Square community is already welcoming their newest, tasty addition.

Victory at Magnolia seats up to 220 guests for a la carte dining and will add outdoor seating beginning in late May. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am to 10:00 pm. The retail store features a collection of Victory beers for purchase as well as logo merchandise and beer infused food options.

For those who frequent the well-established Downingtown location, signature items that are included on the new Kennett menu include a hand-tossed Brewery pretzel served with spicy HopDevil beer cheese and Düsseldorf mustard and ‘Wings of Victory’ with house-made buttermilk bleu cheese dressing. Kennett Square-inspired menu items include the Kennett Mushroom Sandwich and the Kennett. Daily menu additions highlighting local, organic and seasonal ingredients will also be featured.

042315Victory“We are personally thrilled to be welcomed into the Kennett Square community with the announcement of Victory at Magnolia,” said Victory’s President and Brewmaster, Bill Covaleski.  “Our commitment and support of our local economy have created a dedicated following of fans we hope to have for generations to come.”

“This is such an exciting time for all of us,” said Diane Desiderio, Restaurant General Manager, Victory Brewing Company. “We look forward to infusing the Kennett Square area with the hospitality and quality we are known for.”

Over 800 reclaimed mushroom boards were incorporated throughout the design of Victory at Magnolia and a blazing Victory logo spans the 49 foot-long bar. Close to the trailhead for Red Clay Creek, the scenic surroundings are highlighted in large factory-style windows, which usher in natural light throughout the 8,134 square foot brewpub.
