Skill Of Oxford Electrician Andrew Golder Sparks National Award

An apprentice electrician from Oxford lit up a national skill competition by suppressing the risk of electrocution.

Last month The Tri-M Group‘s Andrew Golder brought a top safety award in commercial and industrial electrical skills home from Florida, where he excelled in one of 15 competitions during the Associated Builders and Contractors  National Craft Championships.

Golder is approaching completion of his apprenticeship at ABC’s Eastern Pennsylvania chapter and won the award after “an intense, two-hour written exam and … daylong hands-on practical performance tests,” according to a Daily Local News report.
