Herrs Plans Holiday Magic With Christmas Snacktacular

Herrs is contributing a portion of sales to help fund breast cancer research.

The Herrs Factory in Nottingham is opening the doors of the Nottingham factory and gift shop this month for Christmas Snacktacular, featuring some special events and extended holiday tour hours.

There will be chip giveaways in the gift shop on Saturday, Dec. 13, and pretzel decorating along with a performance of the Quarter Ringers Bell Choir of Oxford United Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15.

Visitors will be able to have their photos taken with Santa, mix their own “reindeer food” and hear a choral ensemble on Tuesday, Dec. 16.

On Wednesday, Dec. 17 there will be hayrides to see the Christmas lights from 5 to 8 p.m.  Also, Santa’s Pickle Squad will be at Herrs from 5 to 8 p.m. that night to hear the story of the Christmas Pickle Tradition and a mischievous elf who learns the magic of giving.  Children may join the pickle squad and have their pictures taken with a four-foot pickle tree ornament.

Starr, a reindeer, will be on hand for photos from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18. Visitors will also be treated to a performance by Oxford Hopewell School and bagpipers Sharon and Kyle Grasty.
