A cutting-edge cloud-based company with a significant real-world presence in Wayne is evolving as fast as the best companies in the country. For the third straight year, Evolve IP has been honored by inclusion on the Inc. 5000 list, ranked No. 2,219.

The company’s success has soared with the ubiquity of the cloud — it has posted growth of 176 percent in the last three years and 80 percent since it started almost eight years ago, according to a Philly.com report.

“It makes it easier for us to succeed,” Chairman and CEO Thomas Gravina said in the article. “We’re no longer telling a story that nobody else is talking about.”

The demand for Evolve IP’s cloud-based servers, data backup and communication services has spurred a recent expansion of its national operations center in Wayne to 27,000 square feet, and its workforce of 185 is expected to jump another 60 to 80 employees over the next two years, the article noted.

“We knew it was an enormous opportunity when we started,” Gravina added. “Frankly, we could have grown a lot more, but our goal is to build a pristine brand.”
