ACT in Faith of Greater West Chester will host its 5th Annual Chef’s Best on Thursday, March 31 from 6pm-9pm at Milestone Events in West Chester. The event is sponsored by Gawthrop Greenwood, PC, Benchmark Federal Credit Union, Brandywine Catering, Fig, Milestone Events, The Town Dish, and several other local businesses or organizations. Event-goers have the opportunity to sample specialties from each of four local restaurants competing to be named “Best of Chef’s Best” and vote for their favorite dish.

The evening will also feature culinary delights from Avalon, Side Bar & Restaurant, VuDu Lounge, and 2015 Best of Chef’s Best winner, Spence 312. For dessert guests can enjoy the confections of Cakes & Candies by Maryellen, Carlino’s, Gemelli, and West Chester Diner.

“Over the years this event has evolved beyond restaurants in our area,” says Denise Antonelli, President of the Board of Directors of ACT in Faith of Greater West Chester. “Some of the region’s premier businesses have rallied to sponsor the event in support of those in our community who need assistance; this year will be even better.”

There will also be silent auction items that were donated by faith communities, groups, and individuals who support ACT in Faith’s mission. All proceeds from the event will help ACT in Faith continue to provide eviction, utility shut-off prevention, and employment support, stock its Community Cupboard, and continue its Neighbors Feeding Neighbors frozen meal program that was established in 2015 to provide both hearty frozen meals to cupboard shoppers, and new volunteer opportunities for both clients and non-clients who want to get involved.

Tickets are $50 ($25 of which is tax deductible), and wine and beer will be available for an additional contribution. To purchase tickets, become a sponsor, or to volunteer visit ACT in Faith West Chester or call 484-324-8492.
